Laser Tattoo Removal

They are a way to express an emotion, make a statement, honor a person or recognize a life-event. They can be bold, subtle or sometimes even both. We love our tattoos and recognize that people get tattoos for many reasons; it’s a very personal decision.

Things, however, can change. What was a passion at one moment in life may not be 5, 10 or 15 years down the road. Miscommunications between artist and client can result in artwork that wasn’t what was expected. Sometimes more space is needed for new or more interesting art. Whatever your reason, we can help.

How to Remove a Tattoo

Tattoo removal is typically achieved through one of two processes: either the body absorbs and eliminates the ink, or the ink is physically extracted from the skin. Non-laser methods—such as mechanical, chemical, or natural approaches—require breaking the skin to force the ink out. In contrast, laser removal is the only method that can safely break down ink particles without damaging the skin’s surface. This allows the body to naturally absorb and flush the ink through its lymphatic system.

While surgical excision can remove a tattoo, it’s costly and often results in significant scarring. Ultimately, professional laser tattoo removal remains the most effective and least invasive solution for complete tattoo removal. Though at-home and non-laser options may seem convenient, they rarely deliver meaningful or lasting results

What To Expect?

Laser tattoo removal works by applying concentrated energy to the ink particles. This breaks up the large particles of ink into smaller ones, allowing your immune system to flush it out. Each laser treatment works at a different depth in the skin, so multiple sessions (spaced 6-8 weeks apart) are needed to get all the ink.

Variables to the treatment timeline can include the depth and density of the tattoo, ink composition, ink location, along with health and lifestyle choices. To improve results, we recommend maintaining a lifestyle that is as healthy as possible, staying on an exercise regimen, and massaging the removal area to increase circulation.
